I stopped by the Southside Business Men’s Club lunch on Wednesday. The program for the day was to honor a number of past presidents, their guests, and a talk with former Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney.

Having only been to this group a couple of times over the years, my impression is based on a small sample set, but my impression is good. There was an obvious history of civic contributions and activities and the members clearly care about helping each other grow their respective businesses…

And, as if that wasn’t enough, the food from the San Jose Country Club was excellent. I look forward to stopping by again, and urge you to do so, as well.
