Yesterday’s ISC2 of Northeast Florida chapter meeting featured a talk with Henry Frith, CISSP, from McAfee. Henry had some interesting things to say about cloud security and he pointed out that as we move a greater portion of our data into the cloud (public, private and hybrid) there is a need to reconsider how we handle security.

CASB, or Cloud Access Security Brokers, is software that will Detect, Protect, and Correct data, in real time, regardless of the platform. CASB protects data where it lives, which is, more and more, in the cloud.
